How to Submit IGNOU Assignment for TEE June & Dec 2024?

IGNOU has announced that assignments for the Term-end Examination in June 2024 must be submitted by May 15, 2024. Students need to submit their assignments by this date to be eligible for the upcoming exams. However, this deadline may change, so students should not consider it final until any official extension is announced by IGNOU.

If students miss the deadline, they should wait for further instructions from the university. For convenience, students now have three options for submitting their assignments: they can submit them in person at their respective centers, or if unable to do so, they can submit them online.

Through Offline Mode

This is the standard method for students to submit their assignments. Students need to complete the assignment questions and then submit their work to the study center. When preparing the assignments, ensure that the first page includes all the required details.

  • Name of the Student:
  • Enrollment Number:
  • Program and Course Code:
  • Name, Code, and Address of the Study Center (where the assignment is being submitted):
  • Mobile Number:
  • Email Address:

If you are submitting the assignments in person, the staff at the study center will give you a receipt. Be sure to keep this receipt safe until your results are announced.

Through Online Mode

For students in grade 8 who cannot visit the study center to submit their assignments, online submission is now possible through one of two available methods. Please note that the availability of these methods depends on the respective regional center.

Google Form

The first method involves using Google Forms. Students can access the regional portals of IGNOU and submit their assignments there. Follow the steps below to successfully submit assignments via Google Form.

Here’s a rewritten version of the paragraph for an eighth-grade reading level:

1. First, visit the IGNOU website and find the list of Regional Centres. Then, go to your Regional Centre’s website.

2. On the homepage of your Regional Centre’s website, look for the News and Events section.

3. Find and click on the Assignment Guidelines or Assignment Submission link.

4. When you click the link, a Google form will open in your browser.

5. Fill out the form with your details, such as your name, enrolment number, and subject code.

6. Upload a scanned copy of your assignment and submit the form carefully.

Instructions to Follow

When submitting assignments through Google Forms, please follow these important instructions:

  • – Complete a new form for each subject.
  • – Ensure that you are correctly uploading the assignment files.
  • – Scan your handwritten assignments and upload the scanned copies.
  • – Make sure the scanned copy is no larger than 100MB.
  • – Submit the scanned copy in PDF format only.
  • – Although you will enter basic details in the Google Form, it is also a good idea to include the same details on your assignment copy.
  • – You can submit assignments via Google Forms only after the email submission quota is filled.

Through Email Address

Although IGNOU has introduced the option to submit assignments through Google Forms, this will not be available at all regional centers. The Google Forms option will only be applicable if a regional center’s email quota is full and they can no longer receive assignment emails from students.

Here is the method you need to follow to submit your assignments via email.

Step 1

Include all important details on the front page of your assignment, just as you would for offline submissions. These details should include:

  • Your name
  • Subject name and code
  • Program and course code
  • Study center name and code
  • Contact details
  • Any other relevant information

Step 2

Scan your handwritten assignment and save it as a PDF. Ensure each subject’s assignment is in a separate PDF file.

Step 3

Find the email address of your regional center using a Google search, similar to how you search for the regional center portal link.

Step 4

In the body of the email, list all the details you have included on the front page of your assignments.

Step 5

Attach the PDF files of your assignments to the email and send it to the appropriate regional center email address.

After Submission

You should receive an acknowledgment email within a few hours after sending your assignment. If you do not receive it, check if your regional center has shared a Google Forms link for assignment uploads and submit your assignments there as well.

Note

Many IGNOU regional centers do not send confirmation or acknowledgment emails after the submission of assignments. Instead of worrying, keep checking the status of your assignments to see your results.
